Tasting Note
Medium ruby in colour. Rose, strawberry and cherry ripe aromas are highlighted with spice and mineral elements. The sweet, dark cherry and cranberry flavours are restrained and focused with fine savoury tannins in this easy-going, medium-bodied McLaren Vale Grenache.

This is good drinking for the price. Ample fruit that one expects from region and variety, but better, a thrust of real tannins that coat the side of the tongue. A bit of whole-bunch, surely. These obviate any sense of sweetness or excess. Notes of Chinotto, dark cherry, raspberry bon bon and thyme. Drink this juicy, mid-weighter on the cooler side.
91 ptsDeep, bright, youthful purple/red colour, with a plush sweet-blackberry, violet and balsamic herb bouquet. The palate echoes this, with lavish sweetly super-ripe fruit and luscious mouth-feel. The tannins are supple, smooth and fine, with a trace of bitterness. A smart wine and its future seems bright. The price is a gift.
