Red Knot Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Tasting Note

Deep red. Fragrant aromas of cassis, chocolate and violet lift from the glass. Blackberry and dark cherry flavours flow through the palate, and are defined by fine structural tannins and a balanced acidity.

Intense plum hues. A nose of blackcurrant, mint and mocha. Big black fruit prominence on the attack but it settles nicely into a savoury cedar, olive and tobacco leaf mid-palate. Firm tannins drive it quite long and keep the early exuberance in check. Impressive layers of complexity at this price.

Cabernet and Blends; Bordeaux Challenge 2021

Dense choc-mint bouquet and lifted varietal fruit flavours on the rich textured palate, underscored with firm tannins.
