Intense plum hues. A nose of blackcurrant, mint and mocha. Big black fruit prominence on the attack but it settles nicely into a savoury cedar, olive and tobacco leaf mid-palate. Firm tannins drive it quite long and keep the early exuberance in check. Impressive layers of complexity at this price.
