Red Knot Classified Shiraz

Deep purple red. Fragrant primary blackberry aromas are highlighted with notes of crystalized violets, milk chocolate and vanilla oak. Dark berry and satsuma plum flavours fill the palate; shaped and focused by velvety tannins and a fresh, natural acidity into the long finish. A full bodied, estate McLaren Vale Shiraz, expressive of typical varietal purity and length of flavour.

Red Knot Classified GSM

Medium magenta in colour. Fragrant aromas of cherry liqueur chocolate, roses, briar and spice entice. The lively, medium weight palate is filled with flavours of ripe strawberries. The luscious Grenache is complemented and structurally enhanced by the darker berry flavours and ripe tannins of the Shiraz and Mourvèdre, offering immediate appeal, whilst with age the wine will develop an attractive, savoury complexity.

Red Knot Shiraz

Deep purple red. Pretty primary aromas of blackberry, cherry and strawberry, with notes of violet and mocha, lift from the glass. A compote of dark berries flows through the medium-bodied palate, focused by fine tannins and subtle oak.

Red Knot Cabernet Sauvignon

Pale salmon pink. Rose petal and cranberry aromas lift from the glass. The palate is filled with flavours of strawberry, raspberry and mixed peel, along with earthy textural elements. The sweet fruit flavours are defined by a lingering natural acidity and savoury moreishness.

Red Knot Rosé

Delicate apricot pink in colour. Primary aromas of fresh summer strawberries and cherries entice. The flavours of cranberry and citrus are defined by subtle earthy elements and a fresh, natural acidity.

Red Knot Chardonnay

Light straw with green tints. The citrus blossom, pear and peach aromas and flavours are enhanced by subtle notes of cashew-like French oak and mineral elements. Harvesting over 2 picks, 9 days apart, from The Davey Estate Vineyard adds layers of complexity and balance to this medium-bodied, textured Chardonnay.
