The Shingleback Tasting Room is located at the entrance to the McLaren Vale township – one of Australia’s most renowned wine regions. Originally the barn of Aldersey Farm, the building was constructed in the late 1800’s and lovingly restored in 2003. An ideal space to cosy up by the fire in winter or keep cool under our verandah in summer.
Visit Shingleback Tasting Room and discover the philosophy behind some of Australia’s favourite wines. As well as having the opportunity to sample and purchase from our collection of award-winning wines, you will also get to experience our Tasting Room only special releases.
No matter what style of wine you are looking for, the friendly and knowledgeable team will have it or be able to advise where to find it.

We are open 7 days – 10am to 4pm
Book into a wine tasting experience. Choose from four flight options; White Wine Flight, Core Red Range Flight, Premium Red Range Flight and a Make Your Own Flight. All include a tasting pour of four wines. $10-$15.
The Tasting Room has indoor and undercover outdoor seating.

If you would rather stay for a glass or two of wine and settle in to relax with friends, you’re most welcome to book a table for up to six people. Beer and soft drinks are available too. Graze on a Vineyard Platter or cheese board. Gluten free and vegan options.
Available between 12pm-3pm. Bookings essential.
